The NJIT Honor Commission is comprised of undergraduate and graduate students, faculty members, staff and administrators. Its purpose is to promote the concept of academic integrity and adherence to the NJIT Academic Honor Code.

The principles of academic integrity are essential elements within a community of scholars. Students and faculty members are engaged in disseminating knowledge and understanding. This process requires each student to be fully responsible for his/her own work, to respect the work of others, and to practice professional ethics.

The Honor Commission was created to facilitate learning within an environment of honesty and diligence. The Honor Commission provides information to the campus community about academic integrity, NJIT's Academic Honor Code, and ethical behavior.
